Senior Software Manager

Job Purpose:  We’re looking for an experienced and self-motivated software project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate shall also have certain level of communication skills to work with teams located in different countries.

Job Description:
• Execute product software development with ODM SW teams through product lifecycle; from product design phase to mass production, maintenance releases, and to aftersales support. 
• Ensuring software delivery on time with expected level of quality and required specifications.
• Continuously improving software performance and quality, by collecting lessons learnt and studying competitor and market pioneer products. 

Main Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Product software requirement analysis and interpretation. Closely discuss with ODM teams and conduct feasibility studies. Lockdown software specifications for feature implementation. Set up correct expectation of feature complete stage internally.
2. Set up software milestones with ODM. Monitor and achieve them throughout product cycle.
3. Clarifying and prioritizing software issues and help ODM to resolve them effectively.
4. Provide ongoing software support post from ship acceptance and be the technical interface between the ODM partners and other groups within Bullitt Group.
5. Review the software capabilities of potential new ODM partners and provide reports and opinions on the risks and benefits of the potential partners.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Software engineering experience is a must. With strong knowledge of software development life cycle, software quality assurance and methodology.
• Better to have relative working experiences in and not limited to Android or other Mobile related OS and involved in the whole product life cycle.
• Good communication skills. Must demonstrate verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product,       Presale, Customer Service and management teams.
• Strong to fluent English writing and speaking ability. Capable of writing design documents.
• Experience on Qualcomm/MTK chipset solution is a plus.
• Experiences on Camera HAL, 3A, image quality tuning is a plus.
• Experience on carrier requirements, software certification issues is a plus.
• Experiences with ODM/OEM working model is a plus.
